To support the growth of our company, we are looking for a:
UK & Ireland Area Sales Manager
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales activities and maintaining customer relationships within the UK and Ireland. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role supports the execution of the company’s commercial strategy specifically in the region. The UK & Ireland Sales Manager acts as the key point of contact between the customers, SFA enviro operations and our Service partner in the region and contributes to business growth in line with company targets.
Responsibilities:
* Sales Execution – UK & Ireland: Implement and support commercial actions tailored to the UK & Ireland Environmental and Wastewater markets in line with the group’s broader sales strategy. Ensure sales targets and margin objectives are achieved.
* Technical Advice: Provide technical advice to customers on the application of the products, ensuring they are optimally utilized.
* Quotations & Negotiations: Prepare quotations independently (with support from the inside sales team) and conduct price and contract negotiations with customers
* Product Promotion: Actively promote and sell the full product range, with a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the products.
* Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential customers, agents, and distributors to further develop the market.
* Market Monitoring & Opportunity Detection: Monitor the UK market for trends, competition, and evolving customer needs. Identify opportunities for product adaptations or new developments.
* Trade Shows: Represent the company at trade shows and events to increase visibility and sales.
* Site visit, Installation & Commissioning: participate and/or act as the main contact person for communication with UK-based suppliers, contractors, and partners when installations, commissioning, or service interventions need to be coordinated.
* Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or Environment Management
* Fluent in English – French or Dutch is a plus
* Commercially minded and communicative, with a passion for the environment and technical products
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and social media (particularly LinkedIn)
* Dynamic, flexible, results-focused and customer satisfaction oriented, open-minded, team player and able to work independently
* Experience in the UK and Ireland Environmental-Water sector
