Cover Supervisor - SEN/SEMH Setting

Tradewind work with a specialist provision for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and additional learning difficulties. Our small, supportive classes focus on building trust, resilience and a love of learning.
The Role
We are seeking an organised and confident Cover Supervisor to:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons when teachers are absent, maintaining a calm and positive learning environment
* Support pupils with SEMH needs, using strategies to manage behaviour and encourage engagement
* Work alongside teaching assistants and pastoral staff to ensure continuity of learning
* Step into different subject areas as required, with full guidance provided
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people (ideally in SEN, SEMH, or behaviour support settings)
* Strong classroom presence and the ability to stay calm under pressure
* Flexibility to work across different age groups and subjects
* Willingness to undertake training such as Team Teach, trauma-informed practice, or safeguarding updates
