About the role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced People Advisor with a strong background in employee relations casework to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that all People activities at emh align with business needs and contribute to the successful delivery of our business plan and People Strategy.
You will take ownership of people matters across the colleague lifecycle—coaching managers, leveraging data insights and collaborating on projects that foster a culture of engagement, inclusivity, and a positive colleague experience.
A key focus of this role is providing expert guidance and hands-on support in managing employee relations cases and investigations, ensuring fair, consistent, and timely resolution in line with policy and best practice. You will partner with the leadership team to address people challenges, promote leadership development, and ensure people practices support emh’s broader strategic goals.
Working closely with People Team colleagues, you will lead on resourcing and recruitment processes, using data to inform workforce planning, performance management, equality and diversity, and service redesign.
We are looking for someone who can champion the consistent application of people policies and procedures, confidently manage employee relations casework, and influence decision-making through insightful reporting and analysis. You will also ensure the effective use of our People System, maintaining data integrity and compliance with GDPR.
