We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Inclusion Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children with additional needs in their early years. The Early Years Inclusion Practitioner will play a crucial role in fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the needs of children with developmental delays aged 2-4 years .
* Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
* Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents and guardians.
* Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained, and to document evidence to support referrals for additional support.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise.
* Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 3 Diploma or equivalent).
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is essential.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A genuine passion for childcare with the ability to create engaging learning experiences for young children with additional needs.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
