Working within Middlesbrough Council, our team helps those experiencing problems with substance use, domestic abuse, and homelessness.
We are looking for a passionate, motivated individual to join our Opiate team as a Caseworker.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of clients with issues around alcohol and substance use, delivering a range of psychosocial interventions to help clients reach their health and wellbeing goals.
Previous experience and/or knowledge of substance use services would be advantageous but is not essential, as a comprehensive training package will be provided. Similarly, previous experience within this field is desirable but not essential.
We are looking for transferable skills such as caseload management, care planning, risk management, and previous experience working with vulnerable clients. This role is suitable for those who have worked in a support setting before. We also welcome applications from those with lived experience.

You will also need a full UK driving licence and business insurance in place before starting.
