About The Role
You will support the H&S team, assisting with new contract mobilisation and delivering safety training to the workforce. You will be instrumental in driving compliance, promoting safety leadership, and ensuring best practice across our operations.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and ensure H&S compliance, meeting KPIs and client standards.
* Develop and audit safe systems of work and conduct safety inspections and site-based audits.
* Lead and assist in incident investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
* Champion a positive safety culture through briefings, campaigns, and local engagement.
* Deliver safety training and support contract mobilisation processes.
* Liaise with client safety representatives, attending meetings, tours, and forums.
* Maintain accurate monitoring and reporting records using Notify and client safety platforms.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to safety transformation initiatives.

Essential Requirements
* Minimum 1 year’s experience in a Health & Safety role, with regular risk assessments and audits.
* UK recognised NEBOSH General Certificate.
* Strong technical knowledge of health and safety compliance and governance.
* Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
* Skilled communicator with strong report writing and IT proficiency.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
* Demonstrated commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
* Experience using digitalised safety platforms.
* Ability to travel around the UK, specifically South and South West.
Desirable Requirements
* Full UK driving licence.
* Trainer/Assessor (Level 3) certificate.
