Overview
Behaviour Mentor: Luton : Full Time : Immediate Start. TLTP are currently working with a Luton-based secondary school who are looking to recruit a Behaviour Mentor to support students across KS3 and KS4. This position will start immediately and run for the remainder of the academic year.
Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEMH, SEBD, or ASD needs within mainstream classrooms and targeted interventions.
* Help students develop coping strategies, improve social skills, and stay engaged in learning.
* Cover lessons or lead small group activities as required to help pupils meet personal and academic goals.
* Collaborate with teachers, the SENCo, and pastoral teams to develop individual behaviour plans and monitor progress.
Qualifications / Experience
* Experience with SEMH or challenging behaviour is required.
* Experience working with students who display challenging behaviour or require emotional support.
* Team Teach or MAPA training would be beneficial.
