We’re looking for a Testing & Readiness Manager to join our Games Readiness & Delivery team. This pivotal role will lead the planning and execution of the Games-wide readiness programme, ensuring that people, systems, and processes are aligned and prepared for the demands of Games-time delivery.You’ll design and deliver exercises, simulations, and venue readiness activities that build confidence, capability, and operational resilience across all layers of the Games.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement the Glasgow 2026 Testing & Readiness Programme across venues, city operations, and Games-wide functions.
2. Coordinate readiness activities including tabletop exercises, simulations, and operational rehearsals.
3. Collaborate with Functional Areas (FAs), delivery partners, and stakeholders to define critical workflows and test scenarios.
4. Facilitate structured debriefs and feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement.
5. Align readiness efforts with Risk, Health & Safety, and Business Continuity strategies.
6. Integrate readiness with other key programmes including C3, Protocol, and Venue Operational Planning.
7. Create toolkits, templates, and training materials to support teams in readiness activities.
8. Monitor and report on readiness progress and confidence levels to internal and external stakeholders.
9. Support operational ramp-up and pre-Games delivery phases.
10. Capture lessons learned and contribute to post-Games legacy planning.
