Job Type
* Attending police stations and Magistrates’ Courts as a Duty Solicitor
* Managing a caseload of criminal defence matters
* Advising clients on a wide range of offences
* Preparing cases for court, including drafting legal documents
* Liaising with counsel, courts and other key stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with legal aid and regulatory requirements
* Providing excellent client care in often sensitive situations
About You
* Qualified Solicitor with Duty Solicitor accreditation
* Experience in criminal defence work
* Confident representing clients in court and at the police station
* Strong advocacy, communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Client-focused with a professional and empathetic approach
