Fixed Term Contract to cover for Maternity Leave
Location: Middleton - Rochdale
Salary: £32,061 to £35,412 per annum + potential additional earnings of up to £3K per annum (made up of Sleep-in Allowances and Bank Holiday payments)
Grade: 6
Working Hours: Full-time 37 hours per week (which includes working evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays and sleep-in duties) Hours are worked over a 4-week period equating to 148hrs.
Fixed Term: Post available until 02 October 2026.

We have an opening in one of our established 4 bedded Children's Homes based in Middleton- Rochdale, for a fixed term contract to cover for a Maternity Leave.
We ask that you have a positive attitude and outlook and have the ability to be both adaptable and flexible to meet the needs and difficulties of the children and young people we are caring for. Our children and young people in our all our homes need care, love, nurture and guidance to help them on the journey they take in life.
All our Children and Young People need committed and dependable individuals who will go above and beyond and help to safeguard them and promote their physical and emotional health and wellbeing.
There are real opportunities for your personal and professional development and our training offer in Rochdale is second to none, including you completing the Therapeutic Parenting with PACE training programme, which is the foundation of our 'Model of Care'.
You must be over 21 years of age and have at least 1 years' experience working with Children and Young People. It is preferable that you are qualified to NVQ/Diploma Level 3/4 Working with Children and Young People or equivalent.
Casual User Car Allowance is payable
Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced DBS including a barred list check child workforce
