This role is a vital support position within the caf kitchen, helping keep service running smoothly while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and teamwork. Working closely with our Chefs, you'll support day-to-day kitchen operations, assist with preparation, and help ensure the kitchen is always ready to deliver great food for our guests. Key Responsibilities - Supporting the kitchen team with day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth and efficient service. - Maintaining cleanliness and organisation across kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, and keeping work surfaces and floors clean and sanitised. - Assisting with basic food preparation tasks such as prepping ingredients and assembling simple items as directed by the chefs. - Helping with deliveries, stock organisation, and keeping storage areas tidy and well-managed. - Following all food hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times. - Working collaboratively with chefs and front-of-house teams to support a positive guest experience. Requirements - No previous experience required - full training will be provided. - Previous kitchen, catering, or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential. - A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a busy caf environment. - Ability to carry out physical tasks, including standing for long periods and manual handling. - Strong team-working skills and good communication. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
