Your Role And Responsibilities As a Quantum Data Center Engineering Intern, you will learn about the structural and mechanical infrastructure needed to support a Quantum System. Gain hands-on skills in the Quantum environment while working with specialized equipment. In addition, you will utilize software design tools to design and implement hardware components. Expectation for the intern role is you are able to use AutoCAD and other design software to design hardware components then implement and test their design. You will also need to have some understanding of physical structures and their weight bearing abilities. Finally have a sense of a lab/datacenter environment, cooling, water supply and power needs. Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree Required Technical And Professional Expertise Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior, in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace, Robotics, or similar program Have a broad mechanical understanding and experience with CAD modeling, simulation, assembly, fabrication, and basic electrical systems Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) Have ability and motivation to work in a hands-on environment (e.g. labs / datacenters)
