Were looking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to take on a key leadership role, with a competitive salary ranging from £26,778 to £27,804.
Responsibilities
* Lead shifts and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the unit in the absence of a manager.
* Provide expertise and guidance to your colleagues while supporting the physical and emotional well-being of young people.
* Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children and young people.
* Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and other agencies to promote partnerships and positive outcomes.
* Contribute to the assessment of individual needs and the development of care plans.
* Support and mentor staff, helping to enhance team performance.
What Youll Need
* At least one year of experience working with young people in a residential childcare setting.
* A QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is required. While a specialisation in Children and Young People is preferred, we will also consider candidates with a qualification focused on adults, provided they are willing to complete the extra units.
* The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with young people and their families.
* Strong communication and decision-making skills.
