About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Drainage Engineer / Foreman to join our established team based at our Guildford depot. This is a hands-on role combining technical drainage expertise with team leadership and client engagement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site operations, instructing and supporting a team of engineers, and carrying out a range of drainage services to both domestic and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and instructing a team of drainage operatives on-site
* Carrying out drain lining, drain repairs, and general remedial works
* Operating jetting equipment and conducting CCTV drainage surveys
* Diagnosing drainage issues and recommending appropriate solutions
* Liaising directly with domestic and commercial clients
* Providing professional advice and promoting company services where appropriate
* Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
* Maintaining accurate job records and survey reports
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in drainage engineering, including lining and repair works
* Strong working knowledge of jetting and CCTV survey equipment
* Previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred
* Confident in client-facing situations with excellent communication skills
* Commercial awareness with the ability to identify additional service opportunities
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* CSCS card (preferred)
* Streetworks qualification (desirable but not essential)
