In this role, youll play a pivotal part in driving our growth strategy - spotting and developing high quality opportunities while working closely with our sales and account management colleagues. What youll do: Developing validated opportunities to the point of first meeting stage. Researching to identify opportunities and provide market insights. Making first contact with decision-makers using a mix of outbound calls, emails, and social media. Coordinating and carrying out follow up activity to develop and nurture accounts. Building and maintaining strong relationships with potential customers. Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the right actions happen at the right time. Providing account management support where required. Maintaining accurate account activity and updates within the CRM system. Reporting on account development and pipeline progress. Supporting wider sales and business activities as needed. Wed love you to have: Proven experience in Sales, Telesales, or Business Development role. A strong track record in prospect identification and cold calling. Confident and professional when engaging with new prospects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Agile, adaptable, and open to new challenges. Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team. Proactive, approachable, and customer focused. Strong organisational and IT skills. Degree-level qualification or equivalent (desirable). Experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment (desirable).
