An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic doctor to join the current Obstetrics and Gynaecology team as a Trust Grade Registrar at Barts Health NHS Trust for six months, on a fixed-term contract, starting from 01st April 2026. Job description
Individuals will require full GMC Registration and should at least be post MRCOG part 2. These posts are aimed at UK or Overseas trainee obstetricians at ST3+ level or above, and for EU trained individuals with the appropriate level of clinical experience. The successful applicant would join a 16-person middle grade rota.
Job responsibilities
Full GMC registration, post MRCOG part 2, and ability to second on call on Labour ward. Participation in teaching, research, audit, and journal club is encouraged. Duties and hours comply with the New Deal initiative and include involvement across the full range of specialist clinics and theatres.
