Overview
Internal Communication which is all about working on the communication for our employees in our Filton and Broughton sites; and Media Relations which involves supporting our UK media manager on all aspects of work including social media. In short, you'll get involved in supporting all aspects of the team's work and your ideas, curiosity, energy and enthusiasm are essential at all times to help you quickly become an integral part of our team of professionals working in internal and external communications and community engagement.

Responsibilities
Write and support internal communications for Airbus employees across UK sites; assist with media relations and social media activities; contribute to campaigns and day-to-day public relations work; help design and deliver communications that engage employees and external audiences.
Qualifications
* Studying towards a degree in Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Media Relations, or equivalent
* Familiarity with IT tools
* Interest in Photography
* Proficiency in English written and spoken
* You must have a passion for people
* Self-motivated, organized and good time management skills
* Not afraid to pick up the phone and talk to stakeholders of all levels
* Nice to have a work portfolio (extra activities at University or in personal projects)
* Security Clearance: You will be subject to a BPSS check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role. This job requires an awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
About Airbus Internships
Here at Airbus in the UK's Communication Department we don't like to boast but we do have a pretty impressive record when it comes to giving interns memories of a lifetime. The programme typically lasts around 12 months with varied daily tasks such as writing news stories, creating videos, designing campaigns, staying on top of local news and other public relations work. There are day-to-day tasks to cover and an interest in aerospace and knowledge of Airbus products is helpful.

Salary & Benefits
Salary: £23,400; 35 hours per week; flexible working hours; hybrid working; half day Fridays; 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
