Senior Residential Childcare Officer - Newcastle upon Tyne.
An exciting position has become available for a full-time Senior Residential Child Care Officer. Must be a driver.
Salary Range for the successful candidate will be:
* £29,280 - 30,320 (depending on experience and qualifications)
There is a requirement to cover sleep-ins with an allowance paid per sleep.
Role Requirements
* You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with children and young people within residential childcare or a similar role.
* Must be qualified to level 3 Diploma for children and young people or equivalent.
* The position requires an experienced, qualified, committed, energetic and enthusiastic individual.
Role Responsibilities
1. To join a team and take a lead responsibility in key areas designated by the Registered Manager and practice a mentoring role in relation to support staff and those new to the team, The aim being to ensure the highest standards pf physical, social and emotional care is offered for the individual development of the children/young people, exceeding the guidelines and standards expected by Ofsted.
