We are looking for an administrator to join the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Maternity Leave Cover / Part-time 0.8 FTE You will work closely with the Senior Administrator and play an important role in the on-going development and running of the onsite and online CPD programme at the RVC. We are looking for candidates with excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills who will thrive in a busy and challenging role. We also require experience in maintaining financial records such as course budgets, raising invoices and purchase orders and processing payments. You will be a highly motivated and adaptable team player as well as comfortable working independently. You will need to be confident liaising with all levels of staff within the College as well as external stakeholders within the veterinary profession and related fields. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and initiative are essential. You will need to be able to work some unsocial hours (e.g. weekends and evenings). This role entails occasional work with live dogs, cats, and horses, in addition to laboratory duties involving being around cadaver material. The post will be a part-time role of 28 hours per week. The post is located at the Hawkshead Campus but visits to Camden and other venue visits may be needed where appropriate.
