Are you an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences? One YMCA is looking for a Senior Team Leader to support our Café teams, providing hands-on supervision, guidance, and leadership across multiple sites.
What you’ll do:
• Lead and develop Café Assistants, supporting training, rotas, and day-to-day operations.
• Deputise for the Café Manager, ensuring cafés are fully staffed, compliant, and delivering excellent service.
• Maintain high standards in customer service, health & safety, and food hygiene.
• Collaborate with central services and foster a positive, community-focused café culture.
• Support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives, enhancing both customer experience and operational efficiency.
What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience in hospitality supervision, with Barista or Chef experience a plus.
• Strong people management and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and budget management.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
• Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate
• First Aid Certificate
