We are seeking a full-time Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join our growing team. This is a field-based role, working on a variety of client sites predominantly across the West Midlands, with support from our office in Halesowen.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Installing, maintaining, and repairing fire and security systems
* Carrying out regular inspections, servicing, and testing
* Fault-finding and troubleshooting system issues
* Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations
* Delivering excellent customer service and representing the company professionally at all times
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in the installation and maintenance of fire and/or security systems
* Knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing security equipment
* Understanding of relevant safety standards and compliance requirements
* Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
* Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Relevant industry training and/or certifications (FIA, ECS/CSCS, IPAF, etc.) – desirable but not essential
* Previous industry experience is preferred, but we’re also open to electricians looking to retrain and develop in the fire & security sector
