Are you ready to lead change and make a real impact at our site? As the Maintenance & Engineering Team Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our transformation by bringing a resilient and proactive mindset to every challenge. You’ll be responsible for evaluating key performance indicators within your area, taking strategic actions to elevate the results of the Maintenance & Engineering department. With full accountability for the departmental budget, you’ll ensure maintenance activities are prioritized and resources optimized. You’ll participate in daily result meetings, helping to resolve major issues and develop robust, sustainable plans for the future. Working closely with the line organization, you’ll identify site gaps and lead maintenance execution, while partnering with the MRO and production teams to deliver a reliable weekly maintenance plan. How You Will Add Value

You will add value by acting as a people manager, ensuring both continuity and ongoing improvement of operations. Your focus will be on maintaining safe working conditions and actively contributing to the implementation of LEAN principles, food safety, and quality standards at the site. Managing the delivery of departmental targets is a key responsibility, ensuring goals are consistently achieved. You will lead second-line fault finding and coordinate resource prioritization in consultation with other functional leads to ensure effective problem resolution. Planning, improving, and executing the maintenance of site equipment according to departmental strategy will be central to your role. You will foster a healthy, inclusive, and safe working environment, promoting a safety mindset throughout the team.


Key Responsibilities

* Ensures that the department complies with Arla Foods’ standards and policies as well as the applicable law.
* Is role model for digital transformation, works with data driven decision making and promotes a digital mindset within the team. Contributes to process confirmation to support the APS transformation.
* Completes and updates plant maintenance records complying with all departmental procedures.
* Applies Lean to continually improve operational performance to ensure the department adopts a genuine continuous improvement mindset.
* Embraces and ensures that Arla Digital WOW is communicated and embedded within the department.


Requirements

You should have gained several years of professional experience—typically three to five years for university graduates, and ten or more years for those with a technical education. A solid background in technical education, such as a technical engineering degree or completion of an engineering apprenticeship, is essential. Additionally, you should bring one to three years of technical or maintenance experience following your training, or have completed maintenance training specifically with Arla Foods.
