Semi Senior/Senior Accountant | Worksop S80 1PH | Full Time, Office-based | 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm | £26,000 - £32,000, depending on experience
Our client is a small but growing accountancy firm with a wide and varied client base. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a Semi Senior/Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified or part-qualified candidate, with full support offered towards completing further training.

Are you the right person for the job?
* Must be AAT qualified or part–qualified
* Minimum 2 - 3 Years of experience in an accountancy practice is essential
* Familiar with accounting software
* Attention to detail
* Possess excellent communication skills
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills
* Team-oriented - willing to get involved and help the team hit deadlines
* You must be focused and have the drive to exceed customer expectations and go that extra mile
* Willingness to learn and grow with the company
What will your role look like?
* Bookkeeping, accounts preparation and filing of VAT returns
* Liaising with clients to collate financial records
* Completing payroll services for clients, including end-of-year returns
* Assisting junior staff with the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns
* Supporting the Director with engagement letters and onboarding documentation for new clients
* Company secretarial duties, including setting up limited companies and filing confirmation statements
* Setting up payroll and registering clients for VAT
* Assisting the Director in maintaining and updating the client database
