We have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Manager to join our fantastic team here at Heaven’s Kitchen. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and will work well within our great restaurant team, providing guests with excellent service and delicious food. This role will mainly consist of ensuring the smooth running and delivery of high standards of customer service within our Restaurant in Farnham & Alton.Working as part of our team, you will be expected to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills. You will need to be passionate and knowledgeable about food and be confident in providing guests with the correct menu choice. The role will give you the opportunity to learn and develop, with the potential to progress within the company. This is a hands on, operational role and will suit someone who likes working with friendly and hardworking people in a restaurant setting.Heavens Kitchen is an independent Mediterranean Steak House, located in the centre of the historic market town of Farnham, Surrey. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, freshly prepared food using seasonal and local ingredients.As standard, you will work 45 hours per week on a flexible rota, where weekends will be required.Main Responsibilities:· take responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant· analyse and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability· organise marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes· prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales· create and execute plans for department sales, profit and staff development· set budgets or agree with them with senior management· plan and coordinate menus, working closely with the head chef· coordinate the operation of the restaurant ensuring that kitchen, bar and waiting staff are working as a team· recruit, train, manage and motivate staff· respond to customer queries and complaints· meet and greet customers, organise table reservations and offer advice about the menu and wine choices· maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety· check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash· comply with licensing laws and other legal requirements.· Coordinating the entire operation to ensure floor, shop and kitchen teams work in full harmonyKnowledge/Skills & Experience Required:A proven record of service excellenceThe ability to motivate, inspire and train a teamA hands on approach and desire to lead by exampleImmaculate presentation skillsA passion for delivering excellent customer serviceAble to work in an efficient and organised mannerExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (Excellent standards of spoken English)Strong industry and food knowledge and be able to advise guests on food and beverage choices and accompanimentsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
