Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Curriculum Lead in Maths to join our Strode’s College team starting in August 2026 on a permanent, full-time basis.
Curriculum Lead in Maths
The Curriculum Lead in Maths role is a full-time position involving 37 hours per week Monday to Friday at Strode’s College. This role pays on the Academic Teacher’s pay scale (T01 up to T11) with a Management Allowance (M1 to M3), resulting in a salary range of T01 + M1 £34,412 up to T11 + M3 £49,578 depending on qualifications and years of teaching experience.
As a combined teaching and leadership role, the post-holder will manage the daily delivery of Maths provision for at least three courses, including GCSE, A Level and A Level Further Mathematics, with one course carrying a significant student cohort. Working closely with the Assistant Principal and Head of Department, the Curriculum Lead will raise the quality of the student learning experience, improve engagement and satisfaction, and ensure high-quality outcomes through efficient resource use. Beyond classroom delivery, responsibilities include leading departmental quality assurance, managing induction and development of new staff, and driving the sharing of best practice in Teaching, Learning and Assessment.
Qualified candidates must hold a Level 5 teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one), a minimum Level 3 subject qualification, and Level 2 proficiency in English and mathematics. The role requires significant teaching experience within a college environment, a strong track record of designing imaginative, innovative, and high‑impact learning, and experience providing pastoral support to students aged 16–18, strong administrative skills, and a firm commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and student welfare.
