About the school
As a supply teacher for students with varying additional needs, you'll have the opportunity to work in a range of educational settings, including SEN schools, mainstream schools with dedicated SEN units, and alternative provisions or specialist colleges. These environments cater to students with diverse needs such as PMLD, ASD, MLD, SEMH, physical needs, cognition and learning needs, speech and language needs, hearing impairments, and visual impairments. Your role is essential in providing flexible and inclusive teaching, adapting to the specific requirements of each student, and ensuring continuity of education in a supportive learning environment.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Supply Teacher you will:
* Qualified Teachers Status.
* Experience working with students who have Learning and Physical Disabilities.
* A DBS Check, or readiness to undergo a DBS check.
* You must have an understanding of different learning styles and how to implement individual support in accordance with the child's needs.
* Strong behavior management skills.
* You must be resilient and adaptable.
* You must have an engaging teaching style.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
