The Senior Operations Manager is a leader and active member of the nursing/care team in the absence of a permanent Care Home Manager. They hold overall responsibility for the nursing and care management of the Home, maintaining standards of Service Users' care and monitoring staff performance.
To ensure standards are maintained and adequate cover is provided, the Senior Operations Manager is expected to work at night, on weekends, and bank holidays as needed. They are responsible for directing and motivating the staff team. Due to the nature of this role, the Senior Operations Manager may be required to manage homes at various locations within the UK, with any changes to their allocated homes managed by the Regional Head of Quality & Compliance.
*This role requires national travel and overnight stays.

* Previous experience as a registered manager in a Care Home environment is essential.

* Excellent communication skills with experience in leading and motivating staff.
