Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding part time role working with our A Level students, to help them flourish and prosper on their A Level journey?
We have a fantastic opportunity as an A Level Co-ordinator who will co-ordinate the learner experience by planning and organising an interesting variety of events, as well as meeting and assisting students with a vast array of queries. The tasks you undertake in this role will ensure our A Level learners excel on their courses.
This is a part time role, working full days on Thursdays and Fridays, or if you want to work around the school run or other responsibilities, you could shorten your hours on Thursday and Friday and work a Wednesday in addition.

The A Level Co-ordinator Role:
Our A Level Co-ordinator will have experience of analysing and reporting on statistical information using advanced Excel skills, whilst being able to multi-task and provide outstanding customer service to students, parents and teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities of ourA Level Co-ordinator:
* To provide an efficient and effective administrative service for the A Level team; dealing with phone, email, Teams and social media enquiries from staff, students, parents and members of the public.
* To proactively engage with students, parents, teachers and business support staff, both verbally and in writing, to ensure the smooth running of the department.
* To provide effective support services to staff and students within A Levels. Additional support in area training programmes may be required.
* To create, update and maintain databases, records and reports and provide succinct summary management reports on a monthly basis.
* To process and report on student data including withdrawals and transfers.
* To liaise with staff and external organisations; as appropriate.
* To prepare regular correspondence to assist with the administration of the area and ensure that information is accurate and sent out in a timely manner, including student progress reports.
* To collaborate with the A Level Office team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
* To co-ordinate A Level Work Experience and Enrichment, including delivering presentations and 1-1 meetings with students and co-ordinating with employers.
* To project manage the A Level enrolment and induction programmes.
* To manage complex timetabling and internal exams for A Level students.
* To project manage additional qualifications added to the A Level programme, co-ordinating the marking & internal verification and liaising with exam office, exam boards and ensuring efficient enrolment and claiming of the qualifications.
* To plan, organise and attend events; such as open events, school visits, staff training events, parents evenings and Futures Week, then reviewing each to enhance for the next time.
* To work with the College Marketing team to develop and maintain the A Level website and CCGOnline Moodle and MS Teams pages.
* To quality assure & ensure compliance with A Level procedures
Our ideal A Level Co-ordinator should have the following skills and experience:
* GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above
* Educated to at least Level 3 / A level or equivalent experience
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Bookings & Forms
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Working knowledge of mail merge facility
* Experience in analysing and reporting on statistical information
* Experience in co-ordination or supervision of systems; processes and people
* Experience of dealing with confidential data
* Experience in project Management (e.g. mock exam week)
* Experience in organising events and meetings
* Experience of working within an administrative role
