Job Description
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with business development activity to further enhance, grow and diversify the structural engineering capabilities within the organisation
2. Oversee and develop engineering solutions from concept through to implementation stage
3. Engaging with and managing the needs of clients and fellow professionals
4. Working closely with key stakeholders to deliver solutions which exceed client expectations
5. Attending meetings and communicating with clients to establish their needs
6. Managing all deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and commercial and technical project success
7. Maintaining high technical standards consistent with the project brief
8. Ensuring all projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective way
9. Identifying key learning points and communicating these across the group and/or the wider business
10. Managing project team to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines and within budget
11. Manage all technical aspects of the team’s project work are undertaken in accordance with the Company Management System and Health and Safety Procedures
12. Being innovative in changing the design of buildings through a knowledge of Structural Engineering
13. Supporting other senior management within the business with technical development
