Communications and Marketing Officer As Communications and Marketing Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the future of Saint Catherine’s Hospice. As well as supporting fundraising, you will develop and implement plans to raise local awareness of the hospice and its work. You will also take forward advocacy that will help to change how many people think about hospices and the services they offer, reducing fear and stigma, telling stories. and building support and understanding. In this central role, no one day will be the same. You will be in constant communication with all of the hospice’s departments, providing marketing and communications support to promote their events, activities and initiatives, to tell their stories. Your creativity and technical expertise will support the development and delivery of a new communication strategy. You will lead on the formulation of a digital and social media plan and create engaging, compelling content for the hospice’s website and for social media platforms. You will act as the primary point of contact for all incoming media inquiries and coordinate media opportunities with press, radio, and television outlets.
