Clinical Risk Midwife – Permanent
Be a part of the Women’s, Children’s and Clinical Services Directorate. The role is for a Clinical Risk Midwife on a permanent contract. The post holder will work alongside a full‑time Clinical Risk Midwife to investigate and evaluate all Datix reports, chair multidisciplinary meetings, write reports and undertake audits. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to investigate incidents in an unbiased manner are required.
Key Responsibilities
* Investigate and evaluate all Datix reports.
* Chair multidisciplinary meetings.
* Write reports and undertake audits.
* Maintain an unbiased approach when investigating incidents.
* Demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experienced midwife with a passion for patient safety and quality of care.
* Ability to chair multidisciplinary meetings and undertake audits.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
