As a Painter and Decorator, you’ll be the friendly face of Once Manchester for the people in our communities. You’ll carry out work with a focus on delivering excellent customer service, along with an ethos of ‘Right First Time’ always completing a repair where practicable in one visit, ensuring high quality and high standards of performance. You will carry out the operational duties of an all-round multi-skilled operative, including associated works, across the full range of repairs services on all One Manchester`s owned and managed properties. You will visit premises and properties to carry out maintenance, repair, refurbishment and renewal work to both tenanted and empty homes. You will be agile, travelling directly to your first job utilising a company vehicle deemed suitable for the work that you are asked to do. Critical knowledge, skills and experience required: * To have served and completed a recognised trade apprenticeship or appropriate NVQ L3 standard. * Experience in a painting and decorating role and ideally of others trades such as; plumbing, plastering, joinery and tiling. * Working knowledge of legislation relating to H&S and CDM. * Experience of working within a customer facing environment offering excellent customer service. * Possess a Full UK driving licence.
