THE ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE:
My client is looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager to join their growing team in Manchester. This is a fully onsite role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, client-focused environment. You’ll take full ownership of high value client accounts, each typically generating £15k+ in monthly recurring revenue.
* Manage a portfolio of 5–10 client accounts
* Be fully accountable for client performance
* Lead client onboarding, campaign setup, and expectations alignment
* Own renewal processes, upsell conversations, and retention strategies
* Lead weekly or bi-weekly client calls with confidence and clarity
* Provide transparent reporting on campaign progress, successes, blockers, and focus areas
* Proactively manage client expectations and handle tough conversations professionally
* Push back when needed to align client expectations with campaign realities
* Send daily End-of-Day dialing notes to clients
* Write and refine outreach scripts and messaging frameworks
* Drive success through strategy, data targeting, and campaign insights
* Mentor and collaborate with Sales Representatives to ensure delivery against targets
* Regularly review performance metrics and adjust outbound strategies as needed
* Ensure consistent client satisfaction and retention through high quality service
* Communicate proactively with Directors regarding client performance and issues
ACCOUNT MANAGER ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Proven experience in Account Management or similar client facing roles
• Strong understanding of B2B outbound campaigns and sales processes
• Ability to handle multiple accounts with a focus on performance and client satisfaction
• Confident in leading client communications
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised, results driven, and proactive
• Comfortable working in a fast paced agency environment
