Teaching Personnel is looking for sports graduates to work as Teaching Assistants. Your background in sport gives you the ideal skills to support learning, encourage teamwork, and promote positive behaviour in school.

Desirable Experience:
A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field
Experience working with children or young people (e.g., coaching, summer camps, youth work)
Understanding of SEND, SEMH, or behaviour support is a bonus
A desire to work in education, either short-term or as a pathway into teaching
Role and responsibilities:
Supporting students in the classroom, helping them engage in learning
Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need extra support
Assisting with behaviour management and encouraging positive choices
Taking part in physical activity sessions, enrichment, or extracurricular clubs
Acting as a role model—motivating students through your own passion and discipline

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
