A well-established, UKAS-accredited provider of Welding Procedure and Welder Qualification Testing, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and Mechanical Testing is seeking a skilled NDT Technician to join their expert team. The company is dedicated to delivering best-in-class testing services across the UK, supporting safety and quality in the welding and fabrication industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on welds and metallic materials using approved methods, both in-house and on client sites.
* Ensure all testing procedures comply with UKAS standards and current industry regulations.
* Produce clear, detailed, and accurate inspection reports.
* Maintain strong client relationships, providing clear communication and technical support regarding inspection results.
* Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality services and continuous improvement.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Commutable to Bristol or Manchester.
* Visual Inspection (VI)
* Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
Desirable Skills & Certifications
* PCN Level 2 (ISO 9712) in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT).
* CSWIP 3.1 certification.
* Experience in Quality Control and Corrosion Inspection.
* Strong understanding of industry standards and procedures.
* Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication abilities.
