Electrical Engineer
Are you a skilled Electrical Engineer looking for your next challenge in an innovative manufacturing environment? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our client's engineering team.
About the Role:
As an integral part of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of electrical systems across our production operations. You’ll work closely with mechanical and production teams to ensure our equipment runs safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, controls, and automation equipment.
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical faults in a timely manner.
* Work collaboratively with mechanical engineers and technicians to support machine functionality.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives through electrical system upgrades.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on machine performance.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
* A fully qualified Electrical Engineer (degree or equivalent experience).
* Strong experience in industrial electrical maintenance and control systems.
* Experience in corrugated cardboard manufacturing or food production environments is highly desirable.
* Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus — ideally able to assist with interdisciplinary machine issues.
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours:
Weekly rotating shifts:
* 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
* 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
* Some weekend shifts required.
* Overtime available and paid at an enhanced rate.
