Key Responsibilities
* Provide senior leadership across a portfolio of capital programmes, delivering assurance, planning, organisation and coordination from concept to handover within the capital strategy for NHS Lothian and the Integration Joint Boards and the Scottish Government across an estate that is both historically and dynamically changing to meet the needs of healthcare services.
* Manage key governance aspects of programmes, from business case development, specification of client requirements and technical standards, design, town planning, procurement and construction, and into the operational phase, ensuring they are delivered within the scope agreed by the Project Board and NHS Lothian.
* Ensure that capital programmes are built as described in the business case to the required quality, as defined in current policy, standards and guidance, and within the approved budget and timescales.
* Work in the United Kingdom ensuring proper work‑permission requirements are met and complied with by the candidate.
