ABOUT THE ROLE


We are seeking to appoint a full-time payroll executive to support the Group Payroll Manager in executing the day-to-day duties of the function. The Payroll Executive is responsible for payroll processing and compliance across a large multinational business. The role works closely with the Finance, Business Systems, and HR teams, as well as external payroll providers, to deliver timely and accurate payroll services.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

* End-to-end production and reconciliation of monthly payroll for circa 1000 employees located in various UK and International offices.
* Using Resourcelink and Deltek Vision for the running of UK payroll and time and attendance reporting.
* Production of maternity, paternity, and sickness calculations.
* Processing of starters, leavers and amendments, including ad-hoc payments/deductions and reconciliation of employee benefits.
* Preparation of payroll information for the international subsidiaries in Excel format and liaison with internal and external contacts for payroll calculation.
* Ensuring timely submission and payments to HMRC and other third parties, including international subsidiaries.
* Production and distribution of payslips, P45s, and payroll journals.
* Assist with the production of month-end, year-end, and ad-hoc payroll tasks, including various accruals, maintenance of holiday entitlements and bought holidays, monthly headcount information, tax year-end processing, annual salary review data, and various bonus schemes.
* Managing payroll queries via the group mailbox and escalating any issues as necessary.
* Supporting audit readiness by maintaining accurate and detailed payroll records.
* Assist the Group Payroll Manager with ongoing policy reviews, procedural updates, and system developments.
* Any other ad hoc projects and duties as requested.

ABOUT YOU

* Previously worked in a similar role.
* Knowledge of UK payroll legislation (International experience desirable but not necessary).
* Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word (training on software provided).
* Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
