Management of purchase and sales ledgers Responsible for processing invoices and expenses accurately and in a timely manner Reviewing all expenses for compliance with Company policy Being a key point of contact around purchase order process Supplier Management– reconciling statements, managing records, being pro-active in resolving discrepancies etc Ensure all accounts are accurately monitored and recorded Ownership of weekly Bank reconciliations Preparing weekly supplier payment run Processing bank payments and cash monitoring Maintenance of the Fixed / Intangible Asset Registers Drive month-end accounting process e.g. prepayments, accruals, journals and prepare the monthly management accounts file with commentary within agreed timescales Monthly departmental reporting and variance analysis and support forecasting activities Support with providing ad-hoc information to the business when requested in a timely and efficient manner Completing VAT return forms Dealing with company payroll by processing wages and employee expense claims Support on preparation of annual budget Work with Financial Controller on preparation for annual audit e.g. preparing working papers and dealing with auditor queries. Part-qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Strong knowledge of accounting (debits & credits prepayments, etc) Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (SUMIF, VLOOKUP & PIVOT TABLE) Experience using Sage 200 or similar ERP system for small to medium sized business Able to prioritise and maintain accuracy when processing invoices and expenses Have a proven track record in processing financial data V-Nova, a London based IP and software company, is dedicated to improving data compression by building a vast portfolio of innovative technologies based on the game-changing use of AI and parallel processing for data, video, imaging, and point cloud compression, with applications across several verticals, from video streaming to Virtual Reality.
