Yusen Logistics is seeking an IT Support Analyst 2nd Line to support the IT and infrastructure needs of our Sustainable Distribution Centre in Northampton (NN7 2QA).
The position holder will troubleshoot and resolve individual and business IT issues and identify ticket trends to address broader issues. Salary: £32,928.

Key Responsibilities
* IT Infrastructure Support
* Managing local site-related projects, from inception to delivery.
* Working with project teams to transition projects into BAU, ensuring documentation is maintained and updated.
* Provide 2nd-line user, hardware, software, and network support for Yusen staff across multiple sites via Service Now, phone and email.
* Identify and resolve infrastructure problems quickly (software, hardware, network).
* Basic networking and fault troubleshooting (IP addressing, diagnostic tools, VLANs, protocols, wireless, switching, routing).
* Maintain the estate with service packs, hotfixes, software upgrades.
* Ensure anti-virus tools are up to date across the estate.
* Distribute knowledge, train 1st line support, and collaborate with 3rd line.
* Document infrastructure work instructions consistently.
* Adhere to change management policies and procedures.
* Support out of hours as required.
* Continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and recommend implementation.
* Ensure company procedures are followed, including performance and people processes.
* Adhere to health and safety procedures, including PPE and equipment checks.
Key Requirements
* MCSE certification or equivalent industry-recognised qualification or experience.
* Relevant IT support experience, ideally within 2nd line.
* Experience in computer hardware/software innovation and delivery.
* Good knowledge of Active Directory/Entra user/group management.
* Strong focus on service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Attention to detail and methodical approach.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to perform complex troubleshooting to isolate, diagnose, and correct problems.
* Initiative to find and implement solutions.
* TCP/IP and networking skills.
* Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
* Understanding of the Internet and related technologies, including cloud-based asset management tools (Intune/42 Gears).
* Customer and delivery-focused mindset.
* Good interpersonal, project management, and presentation skills.
* Flexible and willing to learn new technologies and applications.
* Full driving licence, as role requires occasional travel around the UK.
