Accounts Assistant- Dromore Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a very successful organisation based in the Dromore Area. Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The Role: Reporting to the Financial Controller, the post holder will work as part of a small team assisting with a broad range of accounting activities to include the following: To operate & manage Sage 50 Payroll process to include maintenance of primary records, input of payroll information, compliance with auto-enrolment, payment of employees via BACS, full payment submissions (FPSs) Posting payroll entries to MS Dynamics General Ledger Timely payments of PAYE/NIC to HMRC Other payroll related tasks as & when required Purchase invoice processing Monthly & intermittent payment runs to suppliers Filing of invoices, paid & unpaid Reconciliation of supplier statements to Dynamics 365 Creditors Ledger Debtors control to include liaising with customers Multi-currency Cash Collection & posting of cash to customer accounts Issue of customer statements Sundry cheque preparation as and when required Posting DDs and miscellaneous payments to Dynamics Maintenance of Banking files and reconciliation of multi-currency bank accounts to Dynamics daily VAT/EC Sales Lists Prepare and reconcile quarterly VAT return to Dynamics Complete on-line VAT Return and EC Sales Listing Complete various paper based and online statistical returns Complete Inter-co posting & inter-company account reconciliation Provide support and assistance to the Management Accountant and other personnel within the company as & when required Essential Criteria: Experience of the Microsoft office suite of products and in particular Word, Excel & Teams Minimum two years' experience of working in a commercial accounts office environment Good second level education demonstrating high levels of literacy and numeracy Experience in VAT/PAYE/Bank reconciliations Good oral and written communication skills Ability to work in an organised fashion without supervision Ability to produce work of a high standard with attention to detail If you would like to be considered for this role then please apply via the link provided.
