Applications are welcomed for this permanent Speciality Doctor post, which is based at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. A detailed job plan will be created with the successful candidate. The workload includes a mix of emergency and elective admissions reflecting the acute nature of the hospital. We provide anaesthesia for a wide range of specialty surgery including Robotics, General Surgery, Breast, ENT, Maxillofacial, Obstetrics, Gynaecology (general and oncology), Trauma and Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology and Paediatrics. Day surgery is performed at a stand-alone unit in Dunfermline. We also provide support to a new National Treatment Centre for elective Orthopaedic work You should have full registration with the General Medical Council and have completed at least two years’ full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis).
