About the Role:
To deliver financial savings with overall ownership of the delivery of the decom programme.
Reporting the programme status both internally and externally up to board level.
Matrix manage internal Operations, Finance, Demand, Multi Site, Legal teams and the external Legal and Estates suppliers to deliver decommissions and legal Terminations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Focusing on the different sub sections of the programme to understand where resource should be directed to ensure financial targets can be met/exceeded.
* Ownership of the tasks that exist within Cornerstone that facilitate the savings at the specific times in the month that will generate them.
* Matrix management of the internal and external teams that are responsible for the different tasks which generate the different aspects of the savings that make up the programme delivery
* The decom programme is made up of all aspects of telecom site removal, macro, micro, pico, DAS which creates different sub projects within the overall delivery. Owning the delivery of the different sub project’s is essential to ensure both financial targets are met and service order requests are completed for our customers
* Lead the people’s life cycle of the Property Project Manager to ensure delivery of objectives. Influence and motivate the team to achieve goals together with minimal guidance. Drive
* engagement, developing their skills and achieving objectives and removing obstacles across teams to get work done.
* There is significant property and legal input into the decom programme – Notices to Landlords, settlements, Asset Transfers, use of the Code for access and often complex scenarios affect the ability to yield up and end the relationship with Landlords. Sign-offs and management of both Estates and Legal suppliers is required and is part of the role
* Working closely with the Cornerstone Operations team is essential to the programme reporting and delivery of the programme
* Indirect supplier management is part of the day-day working, ensuring guidance and instruction is given where required to deliver the programme
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Mid-level/previous experience in running projects in complex and frequently changing business environments delivering both ‘business change’ and ‘technical /infrastructure’ type projects leading matrix and multi-skilled teams
* A Level in Math’s, English and Science, or equivalent OND Prince II foundation or equivalent qualification/accreditation
* Excellent interpersonal skills and abilities in managing stakeholders and matrix teams
* Broad knowledge of Telecoms infrastructure and suppliers
* Clear and concise communication skills both upward and within the team.
* Strong planning and organizational ability to prepare and anticipate well in the face of change.
* Experience of running projects within a Telecoms Cellular Network Infrastructure Share environment
