Project Manager - Swindon Summary INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY We have an exciting fixed-term opportunity for a Project Manager to lead a key project with our Supporter Services team that will deliver significant cost savings and efficiencies for the Trust. This large and complex project covers business continuity, risk management, stakeholder engagement, planning, delivery, and governance. We’re looking for someone dedicated to making a real difference for our people and teams. We’re now starting an ambitious three-year transformation programme to take our service to the next level. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there’ll be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there’s flexibility on where you’re based at other times. You’ll be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. What you'll be doing As Project Manager, you’ll work within a wider team driving business change, deployment, and rollout. You’ll engage with stakeholders, the Project Board, delivery partners, funders, and internal teams. Who we're looking for For this position we’d love to hear from you if you're: able to demonstrate experience of successfully delivering complex end to end project/programme management, including defining resources, leading procurement securing project teams and matrix management across multiple projects/programmes a Professional with technical knowledge and skills in project management demonstrated by a recognised project (AMP PMQ/Prince) or programme management (MSP) qualification able to evidence ongoing CPD in your career to date you're a flexible thinker and problem-solver, skilled at negotiating and building productive networks, and confident in using your expertise to influence decisions with senior leaders a skilled communicator, with experience of managing complex and challenging situations with competing interests and a diverse range of people a leader for inclusion, who finds ways to create an inclusive culture an ability to co-ordinate across both business and technical change The package The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart.
