The Role
As a Quality Control Laboratory Lead, you will manage laboratory resources and budgets to support manufacturing activities and ensure timely product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision of microbiology laboratory:
* Ensure routine QC testing is performed timely and in line with schedules.
* Conduct calibration, validation, and training per procedures.
* Coach staff on testing and evaluation best practices.
Management of activities:
* Testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
* Management of consumables and equipment calibration/validation.
* Ensure documentation and testing are completed on time for batch release.
* Support stability testing and complaint investigations.
Training
* Coordinate training and maintain training records.
Validation
* Validate test methods, equipment, and processes.
* Maintain validation documentation and plans.
Quality Documents
* Implement and follow procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA QSRs, Medical Devices Directive, and ISO 14001.
* Lead investigations and audits related to QC.
General
* Participate in cross-functional projects.
* Collaborate to ensure product approval and issue resolution.
Compliance
* Ensure activities comply with all relevant regulations and policies.
