Job Description
The Contracts Manager will be:
* Drafting, reviewing and managing B2B commercial contracts on the sales side
* Leading contract negotiations with customers from independent retailers to large corporates
* Asking the commercial and financial questions others overlook
* Drafting product supply contracts including grocery supply agreements
* Partnering proactively with sales, finance, legal and key stakeholders
* Acting as a trusted commercial adviser to internal teams
* Ensuring contracts are commercially sound and fit for purpose
* Managing contract repositories and tracking key obligations
* Providing clear commercial input and practical guidance across the business
The Successful Applicant
The Contracts Manager should be:
* A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ years' experience drafting and managing commercial contracts (sales side)
* Experienced working independently outside a core legal team
* Comfortable and confident in face‑to‑face customer engagement
* Experienced in a large corporate/blue‑chip environment
* Commercially minded with the ability to balance risk and opportunity
* Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
