Our client, a vibrant and inclusive educational community in Chelmsford, Essex, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This outstanding learning environment caters to students with a diverse range of needs, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting their academic and personal growth.

As a Part-time SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a mainstream Primary School, providing 1-2-1 support to a student with Additional Needs (ASD). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the student receives the necessary support and guidance to thrive in their learning journey.

Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the class teacher to develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to the student's specific needs and abilities
- Providing 1-2-1 support to the student during lessons, helping them to engage with the curriculum and overcome any challenges they may face
- Encouraging the student's independence and self-esteem through positive reinforcement and praise
- Collaborating with other professionals, such as speech and language therapists or educational psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to the student's development
- Maintaining accurate records of the student's progress and regularly communicating with parents and caregivers to keep them informed of their child's development

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or special educational needs (Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification)
- Previous experience working with children with Additional Needs, particularly those with ASD
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to working with children who have diverse needs
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of the student and the school environment

Qualifications:
