Are you an experienced Social Worker and qualified Practice Educator looking for a new challenge?
We are pleased to be offering an exciting role within our Practice Education Team at Devon Partnership Trust. The successful candidate will join our established multi-disciplinary team providing advice, training opportunities and support to staff at all levels within the organisation. The post holder will be pivotal in the on-going development of the social work apprenticeship and ASYE offer to newly qualified social workers across the Trust. In addition they will be a key contact for the signposting of qualified social workers looking at their own development needs.
This exciting role will also plan, coordinate and support all social work learner placements internally and externally to ensure learners experience quality placements and meet all the required learning outcomes.
The Trust ASYE offer for newly qualified social workers is at an early stage of development and you will be key to its future planning and success. We are working closely with partner and statutory organisations to ensure we provide a quality ASYE programme for those working in a variety of roles in both Adult and Children's mental health services at the Trust.
As part of placement expansion and ASYE development plans we will need to train more Practice Educators across the Trust and this role will help coordinate recruitment onto the programme with our partner university and support colleagues to successfully complete their training.
As part of the Trust Practice Education Team you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team made up of nurses and allied health professionals. In addition to supporting the specific leads within the team you will link in with the Head of Social Work for the Trust in an support and advisory capacity.
