About the role:
You’ll be joining PwC’s Risk Line of Service, within our AI & Modelling team, where we help clients harness advanced analytics, Generative AI and agentic technologies to transform how they manage risk, make decisions and create value. This role sits at the intersection of AI transformation, insurance expertise and risk management. You will play a leading role in shaping and delivering PwC’s AI agenda for the insurance sector, with a particular focus on finance, actuarial, pricing, capital and risk functions across life and non-life insurers. You will be responsible for building, leading and scaling a multidisciplinary team developing cutting-edge Generative AI and agentic solutions, working closely with actuaries, technologists, data scientists, insurance specialists and PwC’s onshore and offshore Technology Centres of Excellence.
What your days will look like:
* Leading AI-driven transformation programmes for insurance clients, focused on insurance pricing, reserving, capital modelling, finance transformation and risk analytics.
* Building and leading a high-performing team responsible for designing and delivering Generative AI and agentic solutions, combining actuarial, engineering, data science and insurance expertise.
* Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (CROs, CFOs, Chief Actuaries, Heads of Pricing and Risk), helping them navigate the implications of AI for governance, controls, performance and value creation.
* Developing people, coaching future leaders and creating an inclusive, collaborative culture across multidisciplinary teams.
This role is for you if:
* You have deep experience leading transformation programmes, ideally within insurance, but strong candidates from adjacent sectors (financial services, risk, capital-intensive industries) will be considered.
* You bring strong technical credibility across areas such as: Generative AI and agentic architectures, Advanced analytics and modelling, Data-driven decision-making, Broader AI and cloud technology landscapes
* You understand insurance finance, pricing and risk, and how these functions are evolving in response to AI, regulation and market pressure.
* You have a proven track record of building and leading teams, including multidisciplinary groups of actuaries, engineers, data scientists and domain specialists.
* You are comfortable working with senior client stakeholders, able to build trust, challenge constructively and influence strategic decisions.
* You bring a strong commercial mindset, with experience identifying market opportunities, shaping propositions and contributing to revenue growth.
