As our new Production Operative at our Settle Dairy, you will play an integral part in the production of our Lacto-Free products. Working a rotating continental 12-hour shift pattern covering both days and nights, you will monitor the production lines to ensure key targets are achieved. The shift pattern is over 4 weeks and includes 8 consecutive days off!
Responsibilities
1. Run production lines safely and efficiently to produce high-quality products.
2. Perform quality inspections on materials and finished products.
3. Conduct quality checks including codes, sealing, and weights.
4. Fill trays, apply glues, and attach caps.
5. Report safety issues to maintain proper safety conditions.
6. Perform cleaning tasks as per schedules.
What you’ll need to be successful
1. Experience in a similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
2. Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous but not required.
3. Training and support will be provided during induction.
4. A motivated team player capable of working independently.
5. Commitment to quality and willingness to work hard.
6. Good attendance and eagerness to learn new skills.
7. One week off every 4 weeks!
